They may tell you that people are reporting "BVM sightings", but they certainly don't take for granted that the Blessed Virgin Mary is manifesting in people's breakfast. (Also, they tell better jokes than are usually found in the network and cable "news" shows.) If our national media had approached the alarmism about Iraq's WMD the way FT does flying saucer stories, we wouldn't be in this mess. I only wish that our national media was capable of the skepticism of Fortean Times – and they, at least, are skeptical.
