		<description>I only wish that our national media was capable of the skepticism of &lt;i&gt;Fortean Times&lt;/i&gt; - and they, at least, are skeptical.  They may tell you that people are reporting &quot;BVM sightings&quot;, but they certainly don&#039;t take for granted that the Blessed Virgin Mary is manifesting in people&#039;s breakfast.  (Also, they tell better jokes than are usually found in the network and cable &quot;news&quot; shows.)  

If our national media had approached the alarmism about Iraq&#039;s WMD the way FT does flying saucer stories, we wouldn&#039;t be in this mess.</description>
