I switched to a different Twitter client — twhirl. It’s an Adobe AIR application, which means that it can run on both Windows & Mac. So far, it seems to be a heck of a lot more stable than my previous client, tweetr.
On a totally different subject, I’ll be up in Boulder Monday morning and afternoon, speaking with Lorelei Kelly (of National Security Network fame) about civil-military relations and how we, as liberals and progressives, can come up with a competing framework to battle far-right ideas of how the military fits in modern American society.
Given that we’re going to be dealing with the after-effects of Iraq for decades (yes, I said it, decades), it’s crucial that we nail down the framework now.
